The black diamond at the top designates a hard course. Physical endurance or technical challenges are provided on this course.

An oval at the bottom indicates a loop course. This course will typically not double back and offers the most variety of scenery.

The tan color of the lower symbol represents an off-road or mountain bike course. It is recommended that you have a mountain bike to ride this course.
