Check out our glossary of terms:

- Shred
- Tear’n up the trail. Really working the track. "Hey did you catch that guy shred that course."
- Single Track
- A part of the course that is a dirt trail. This is typically a narrow trail just wide enough for a bike. This is the ultimate mountain biking course.
- Slick Rock
- An exposed rock face. Perfect for banking, jumping and scraping on.
- Small Gear
- These are the bottom gears that are typically reserved for climbing.
- Sole Barney

- Stoked
- Feel’n good. Pumped up. "I was so stoked when I cleaned the rock garden."
- Stutter Bumps
- A part of the trail that has wash board feel to it. The bumps on the trail are very close together and have the effect of making you stutter as you ride over them.
- Style’n
- Looking good to others. You’ve got the look, the bike and the moves. "Fred’s really style’n since he got the new ride."
- Toss

- Wipe-out
- When you totally bust on your bike usually over the handlebars or to the side.
- Workable
